Camp History

Siren, WI

"Almost heaven, Camp Ojibway. On Lake Mudhen..."

Originally a Boy Scout camp, the 3.25 acre
lakeshore property was purchased by Hope Church
in 1958. It began operation as a church camp in
    the summer of '59.

Traditions established decades ago made Camp Ojibway
a place rich with memories, laughter, and changed
lives. From worship and teaching to funny skits,
people experienced Christ's love through the leadership
    of the staff and directors.

Though the ministry was strong, the property limited
the number of youth and families that could
experience camp. There didn't seem to be much hope
for change in the near future

    We spoke too soon...
