Marriage Enrichment Ministry
The Marriage Enrichment Ministry at Hope was established to nurture and enrich marriages in our community. It is our desire to see all marriages flourish by being centered in Christ and thereby glorifying to God, for He is the One who designed marriage.
As marriages are enriched through couples being bonded together in Christ:
• Christ is glorified and others are attracted to Him. (Eph. 5:31-32)
• Marriages become more joy-filled and satisfying. (Philippians 2:15)
• Divorce decreases. (Malachi 2:15-16; Matthew 19:6)
• Children experience less stress and thus, are happier and healthier. (Malachi 2:15-26; Deuteronomy 6:4-7)
• Society as a whole benefits: Strong, contented marriages promote good mental and physical health making those people more energized, productive members of society. (Titus 3:8)
• When marriages thrive, children witness the love and commitment and will want to imitate such a marriage. (I Corinthians 11:1; Romans 14:13)

The Marriage Course
This annual course focuses on helping married couples build
a healthy marriage to last a lifetime. [view our brochure and

Sweetheart Social and Dance
This is our annual social for all couples. Join us for hors
d'oeuvres, dessert, and dancing to a live band. There will
also be preparatory dance lessons offered in January.
Marriage Retreat
Held at Luther Point Retreat Center near Grantsburg, WI,
this event takes couples away from the world's pressures
giving them a time to reconnect as a couple. Enjoy time
alone and with other couples in the serenity of a northern
Wisconsin lakeshore
Resource Cart
Marriage and relationship building books, videos, and tapes
are available for couples to borrow. Located outside Hope's
Bookstore.
