Worship Through Music
Get Involved in a Music Group at Hope!
If you've been considering getting off of the sidelines and into the game, I encourage you to get involved in one of Hope's musical groups. Here are five groups for your prayerful consideration:
Sanctuary Choir
Skills required: Singing in tune, some music reading skills.
Time required: Weekly Wednesday rehearsals from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Sunday morning 8:00 a.m. pre-service rehearsal and 8:30 a.m. servic (done at 9:30 a.m.).
Ages: High school and adults

Rehearsals begin on September 8th in Adult Choir Room (H004).
Praise Team
Skills required: Strong spiritual motivation, humble spirit, strong vocal or instrumental skills, and ability to read music or play by ear.
Time required: Weekly Wednesday rehearsals from 8:45-10:00 p.m. Sunday morning 10:00 a.m. pre-service rehearsal and 11:05 a.m. service.
Ages: High school and adults

Children’s Choir and Chimes
For Children in Grades 2-6
Rehearse on Sundays at 9:00 a.m.

You can be in one or both groups (as they will be on alternating schedule.) Watch for details about these groups
in the coming weeks in the Sunday bulletin.
Orchestra
Description: Lead worship by playing instrument (brass, strings or woodwind) in instrumental ensemble.
Skills required: Music reading skills.
Time required: One rehearsal/month (time TBA). Will play in 8:30 and 9:45 a.m. services once/month.
